Readymoney Easter Trail 2025

This Easter we're running another of our popular trails to keep little ones (and big ones!) busy at Readymoney Cove over the school holidays. Each clue below relates to a physical written sign or notice around the Cove which results in a letter. Find all 8 letters and unscramble them to work out the mystery word. 

We've got paper and crayons in the shop if you want to make a note of the letters as you find them or keep a list on your phone to show us instead.

There will be a tasty treat for every participant who comes into the shop during opening hours and whispers the mystery word you've discovered! We're open 9.30am to 5.30pm from Saturday 5th April, happy hunting!

Clues

• The 5th letter of the old name of the cove
• The 1st letter of the name of the 3rd person who gave the lane known as St Catherine's Parade for the use of the people of Fowey as a footpath
• The 2nd letter of the Mayor's name in the beach shelter
• The 6th letter of the red section of our handpainted beach signpost
• The 2nd letter of the man the defibrillator is in memory of
• The 11th letter of the National Trust sign closest to the beach
• The 1st letter of the man's name on the limekiln garden dedication stone
• The 2nd letter of the name of the little blue & white cottage 

Terms & Conditions

• The trail is completely free to enter and open to people of all ages.
• All entries must be submitted at Readymoney Beach Shop by 5.30pm on Monday 21st April.
• Prizes are non transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative
• When your entry is handed in at Readymoney Beach Shop a small treat will be offered to all participants. There may not be an alternative for those with particular allergies but we will always do our best.
