Walk The Coastal Path

Did you know we are a Way Maker point for the South West Coastal Path Association? Being open all year round we are perfectly placed to welcome walkers during all seasons as they make the most of the of spectacularly scenery on our doorstep here in Fowey. At the end of July 2022 the SWCPA launched their new South West Coast Path Passport and we are delighted to be acting as one of the first stamping points for this new fundraising project.

The 630 mile path is one of the UK's most loved national trails, whether you walk it in bite sized chunks with the family or are one of those hardy souls who attempt it all in one go with your camping gear on your back, and we do meet plenty of both types at Readymoney!

Walked by approx 9 million visitors each year the South West Coastal Path takes you through some stunning places. Purchase of the passport helps put money into the pocket of the charity who help care for the path which is at increasing risk from climate change. Did you know that it costs nearly £1 million per year to help protect, care for and promote this wonderful environmental and tourism asset? This new project will be an important part of that fundraising.

Each of the seven sections of the path between Minehead and Poole has its own beautiful hand carved wooden stamp featuring a design unique to that section. The South Cornwall stamp which we have features an anchor.
