The Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature runs from 6th to 14th May this year and to fit with the general literary theme across the town during festival, we've arranged some special visits to Readymoney from some of the talented local authors whose books we stock in the shop. Why not join us for coffee & cake or ice-cream and find out more about what inspired our writers. Saturday 6th May, 12-2: Ben Rowswell, author of two beautifully illustrated picture books for all ages. "Cornwall: An Alphabetical Adventure" and "I Spoke To The Sea"
Monday 9th May, 12-2: Tina Barrott, author and illustrator of 'The Charlestown Robin', a book originally created as a gift for her grandchildren.
Wednesday 11th May, 12-2: Cate Merrin, Polruan-based author of the hilarious Captain Seasick series, lots of funny local references and toilet humour with a serious message about keeping our beaches clean.

I work in a small school called Tregony and would love to get Cate Merrins details. Our school would really love a visit or talk from her if possibly. We are trying hard to promote reading Thank you :)
